Moeraki Boulders - New Zealand

     I always appreciate going to different areas of the world and discovering things in nature that are unexplainable. For instance, in Washington state, near Forks, there is a beach where one can find many flat stones that are almost perfectly round or egg-shaped. I have never seen these stones anywhere else...at least in this abundance.
     The stones pictured above are found only in certain areas of the world, one of them being New Zealand. Why is that?
